About the Royal Mail Strikes

Over the coming weeks Royal Mail have planned a series of strikes that will affect delivery times on all orders that we dispatch through their system. The following 2022 dates is when post will not be collected, sorted or delivered:

  • Friday 30th September
  • Saturday 1st October
  • Thursday 13th October
  • Thursday 20th October
  • Tuesday 25th October
  • Monday 28th November

Further dates have also been announced for functional strike action which will impact parts of their operation on the following:

  • Processing, distribution, international, collection, admin: 3rd, 9th, 15th, 24th November and 1st December 2022.
  • Delivery: 4th, 10th, 16th, 25th November and 2nd December 2022
  • Network: 2nd, 8th, 14th, 23rd, 30th November 2022.

Due to strike action, it is unfortunately inevitable that all of our standard delivery orders, which are sent through Royal Mail, will face delivery delays on and around these dates.

We do have a courier option available if your order carries a degree of urgency. If you select Express Delivery during the checkout process then it will be dispatched via DHL courier, which uses next day delivery (Scottish highlands and islands may incur an increased delivery charge and 2-3 day delivery using DHL. See our Delivery Information page for more details)
