Gullsweep GS-RK - Retainer Kit Mount
Add to your existing GullsweepÂ® for those applications when a GullsweepÂ® could fall off of a non-permanent mounting i.e., GS-RK pulled from a canopy might turn sideways and the GullsweepÂ® could slide off the center mounting pin and go over board. Unfortunately, GullsweepsÂ® do not float or fly.
Simple to install and will take the worry out of the situation.
The retainer is to prevent a GullsweepÂ® from falling off the center mounting pin and being lost overboard. The retainer does not have to be used for Gullsweep's Â® proper operation. GullsweepsÂ® have been used for over 40 years without a retainer. However, today there are many more mounting options and a mounting pin can possibly shift in heavy winds due to a loose mounting or with the rotational vibrations that GullsweepÂ® generates.
GullsweepÂ® does not fly as they do not have any lifting component; and they do not float either. A retainer is not only for peace of mind but can prevent a lost GullsweepÂ® in that unforeseen situation.
To install, slip retainer spring up on center mounting pin. Put GullsweepÂ® on mounting pin and press all the way down so it is resting on the center pin. Adjust the retainer spring so it is in place over the hub retainer ring with a minimum 1/8" clearance above the hub retainer. The spring should not touch the hub or the retainer ring. (See diagram).
To remove, pull back top of retainer spring so GullsweepÂ® can be removed. Spring retainer can stay on the mounting pin, however the pin should be removed as it can be dangerous to anyone on the boat.

All orders are processed, dispatched and delivered during the working day week (Monday to Friday). Items ordered on Friday after 9am or during the weekend may not be processed and dispatched until the next working day (Monday). All orders taken before 9am will be processed and sent for delivery by 5pm the same day. Any orders placed after 9am may be processed the following working day.
Bayside Marine can deliver to anywhere in the UK. We use the most reliable and cost effective couriers to get your item to you as swiftly as possible.
We dispatch via two methods:

|Express Courier (Next working day)||£9.99||For items we are unable to send via Royal Mail, and for orders that have selected Express Delivery. For all zone A delivery postcodes your item should be with you the next working day after dispatch. For zones B to E it may take two or three working days due to the distance your parcel has to travel.|
Please note that these prices are subject to change depending on where your item is being posted to and the value / weight of what you are ordering.
|Important - Our delivery times quoted are for working days, and so do not include weekends or Bank Holidays. We post goods daily Monday to Friday and on the day that we mark your item as dispatched. If an item is ordered with express delivery that is dispatched on Friday then it will not be delivered until Monday. If an item is ordered Friday evening with express delivery selected then it will be dispatched the following Monday and may not be with you until the Wednesday.|
Free Delivery - Orders over £100 qualify for free delivery if the delivery address is within 'Mainland UK', which are addresses that fall within zones A and B on the diagram below. Free delivery does not qualify for addresses that fall into zones C, D or E if the item being purchased is classified as a 'prohibited item' by Royal Mail (solvents, liquids, cleaners, paints, aerosols etc). If this is the case then the courier cost to get your item to you will be automatically added during the checkout process.
Delivery can be to any address as long as the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.
When you add products to your Shopping Basket, the appropriate delivery charge will be added automatically. You will always be able to see this charge before submitting your order.
All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Small parcels may be delivered via Royal Mail or UK Mail.
The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.
Delivery will be between the hours of 7am and 6pm; we are unable to confirm a time.
Bayside Marine Ltd will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods. This means your delivery may arrive in more than one batch to ensure your order is transported in the best possible way.
Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and Bayside Marine ltd shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.
You will only pay one delivery charge per order, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.
Bayside Marine ltd shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Cancellation of Orders
