Jotun

Alkydprimer is an excellent single pack (oil) based primer undercoat suitable for Steel, Aluminium or Wood above the waterline. It is the recommended undercoat for use with Jotun Pilot 2 and can also used as a topcoat when a matt finish is required.

Vinyguard Silvergrey 88 is a quick drying, modified single pack vinyl primer / tie coat for most applications above and below the waterline. It is very water resistant and recommended to use as a tie coat or as a sealer to an unknown or unsound antifouling / paint system. Vinyguard can be used as a primer / touch up primer under Alkyd and acrylic coatings for wood and steel. Available in both silvergrey colour and red-toned colour.

Jotamastic 90 is a two-component, polyamine cured epoxy mastic coating which is a surface tolerant, high solids, high build product. Fully tintable in a wide range of colours, it is specifically designed to provide lasting protection in high-corrosive environments and can be used as a primer, mid or top coat. It is available with different hardeners (component b) for varying substrate temperatures, Standard (Std) and Wintergrade (WG).

Jotun Clipper II is a premium clear alkyd based wood oil/varnish. It contains UV-filter. Used together with Clipper I it makes a good system for surface treatment for wooden boats. Clipper II has good water and wear resistance and provides good flexibility. It is fast drying. Clipper II can be used on all wooden surfaces above the waterline.

Ravilakk is a clear, high gloss boat varnish that is easy to apply with exceptional levelling and gloss retention. It is specially designed with tung oil to give it exceptional flexibility and hardness. Ravilakk is both durable and water resistant, giving woodwork a fine golden tone and long lasting gloss finish that enhances the natural beauty of wood. This varnish can be used for woodwork both above and below deck.

Recommended as a general use thinner for most conventional alkyd or oil based paints.

Jotun Easy Gloss is a high quality alkyd topcoat. It has a high gloss finish with very good levelling characteristics. It has excellent gloss and colour retention. It is easy to apply. It is fast drying. It has very good hiding power. To be used as a topcoat for aggresive atmospheric exposure. The product is suitable for both professional and consumer application.

Jotun Jotafloor Rapid Dry is a single pack alkyd coating. Rapid Dry is a fast drying floor paint and offers a durability that isn't usually associated with alkyd floor paints. It is ideal for floors with light traffic and walkover and is designed for a range of floors with various levels of exposure.

Jotun Easy Primer is a high quality alkyd primer. It is easy to use and offers very good leveling and hiding power. It is fast drying. Offers very good sanding and filling properties. Suitable for properly prepared aluminium, carbon steel, composite and wooden substrates. Recommended as primer/undercoat for one component yachting topcoats. Suitable for both professional and consumer application.

Jotamastic 90 Aluminium is a two component, polyamine cured epoxy mastic coating. It is a surface tolerant, abrasion resistance, high solids, high build product. It is aluminium pigmented for improved barrier effect. Jotamastic 90 give excellent corrosion protection in both salt and fresh water. It is available with different hardeners (component B) for varying substrate temperatures, Standard (Std) and Wintergrade (WG). If being applied by airless spray it is essential to thin the paint by up to 10% using Jotun Thinners 17

Penguard Clear Sealer is a two-pack, transparent epoxy sealer with excellent penetrating properties. Recommended to be used as a sealer/primer on concrete and other masonry surfaces as part of a suitable protective coating system.

Component B tin for use with all Penguard Jotun paints

Penguard HB is a high build, two-pack pure epoxy primer that be used above and below the waterline. It has excellent adhesion to GRP and should be used when painting over the gelcoat for the first time. It is extremely water resistant and will help prevent osmosis and has excellent adhesion to steel, aluminium, bronze, wood (marine ply) and galvanised steel.

Penguard Tow Temp Additive is an additive for improved low temperature curing of the following products: Penguard HB, Penguard Primer, Penguard Special.

Solvent thinner. Recommended thinner for polyurethane or similar paint products.

Vinyl Primer is a quick drying, one-component modified vinyl primer/sealer pigmented with aluminium flakes for added water resistance. Vinyl Primer can be used both for underwater and topside areas. It is an excellent universal sealer, which can effectively seal correctly prepared, intact old antifouling systems.

Jotun Vinyl Primer spray is a one component physically drying vinyl sealer/primer. It is fast drying.

It is pigmented with a high content of aluminium flakes giving good waterproof protection. Gives excellent adherence  to antifoulings. Supplied in a spray can for easy application.

To be used on drives, flaps, propellers and light metal parts below the waterline. Specially designed as preparation for Aqualine antifoulings supplied in a spray can.
